This year we had a peaceful July 4th. We started the day by watching the neighborhood parade with my Bro-in-Law, Sis-in-Law & niece. The babies were a bit confused by it all, but enjoyed watching the "whoo whoo"s (fire trucks) and the "ca"s (cars) drive by :)

Afterwards we enjoyed some time at home then had our old neighbors over for a BBQ, walk around the neighborhood, & some fireworks (a mild version for the babies .. boy how times have changed!). All in all, it was a wonderful day filled with many new memories! Can't wait to continue the memories & traditions in following years!
