Today I am officially 29 weeks (thank you Lord!!!) and have begun the wonderful journey of "bed rest".... My OB told me that IF I were able to make it through the semester without any complications that I'd be put on bed rest "immediately"; however, since I have been doing so well I haven't gotten the OFFICIAL word yet & will be taking it easy until my next appt this upcoming Tuesday.
Last week we had our monthly MFM appt and received more great news (never get tired of that statement!) about our babies. All 3 cooperated nicely & all necessary measurements were taken. They each weighed in at 2lbs 12 oz! The MFM said she'd never had triplets weigh the same or that had weighed this much at this point in a pregnancy! She also said they were in the 50th (A & B) & 51st (C) percentiles for a singleton pregnancy (the ideal percentage) & that they were definitely bigger than triplets are expected be at 28w5d! Talk about WOW!!! Lastly, she also said that she "didn't know what to say" because she'd never had triplets do this well & that she couldn't believe there weren't any concerns, etc. My OB told me that they won't let me go past the end of January (34/35ish weeks), so the countdown has definitely begun! Who knows how long I'll make it if they continue to grow at this rate!!
The nursery is starting to come together, but still needs a few crucial items and the rest of the rooms are starting to slowly fall into place. Pictures will be posted once there is more progress, but hopefully it'll be done before the babies arrive! :) I'll update again after the Tuesday appt!
